Week 8 EOC: The Adventure


P-taff the first bullet flow by Phileas head. P-taff the second one nearly hit his side. P-taff the three bullet almost hit his left leg. “I should have known talking to that beautiful woman was a bad idea,” Phileas Fogg thought. while running away from the man shooting his pistol at him in the jungle. The man chasing him was shouting “You can’t just walk into my bar and start flirting with my wife who do think you are!” Phileas yelled over his shoulder. “Sir I did not know that beautiful woman was your wife!” P-taff p-taff p-taff three more bullets came falling his way. “Yeah sure you didn’t known she was my wife.” The anger man seared. Phileas looked backed and he notes that the man was reloading. Phileas thought, "At this rate I will dead before sundown." The man then said “Don’t lie to me my wife told me that you came up to her and started hitting on her.” He then cocked the gun and aimed at Phileas again. “Sir you have it all wrong you wife came up to me and started putting on the charm.” “I was sitting at the bar mining my own business nursing a headache” “She came over and sat down.” “She then asked me if I was have a bad day.” Phileas started to think back what was going through his head at that moment. His day was starting to look better by the second. The woman standing next to him was so beautiful in her sexy light blue dress.  With her mesmerizing light green eyes. I was having a bad day till you showed up my day is looking up Phileas thought. Bartender get the lady what ever she want. The lady order a red wine then she asked me. If wood like to try the best potato chip in all of Haiti. I said sure if a pretty woman life yourself is eating them they most be good. She hands me the bag of chips. I take a look at the bag and it reads Pork sweet potato chips. I  opened the bag and ate one. It was the best potato chip I have ever had. The beautiful woman notes the look on my face and said see I told you so. I'm Phileas and you are? Astryd nice to meet you. I kiss the back of her hand. It is nice to meet you too. Astryd reach over and took a chip out of the bag and feed it to me. The there was a loud gun shoot that went off. I look over and seen a anger man holding a gun. He then pointed it at me. He then said what are you doing with my wife. Astryd then started speaking Creole to her husband. After she was done talking to her husband he then got the angers look on his face. He then fired the pistol at me it missed my head by a inch. I grabbed the chips and ran out the door. A bullet hit my leg. I hit the ground with a thud. With the shoot to the leg it pulled him out of he's head. Phileas rolled onto his back and faced the man.  He look up as the man was coming toward him. Sir I swear I did not know she was you wife. Lies lies tell me the ttruth or I kill you where you lie. Your wife does not where her ring. How would I know she is married to someone? She told you herself that she was married but you keep hitting on her. Sir I assure you that she did not say anything about being married. I bbrought her a red wine and a bag of Pork sweet potato chips. She had you buy her Pork sweet chips? Yes Phileas held up the bag of chip see. The man grab the chips from him.  I can't belive it she had you buy her the Haiti's potato chips that is know to bring people together. She did the same thing to me. Sorry about shooting you in the leg. While at least you got to try the best potato chip in Haiti. Here I help you to the hospital. Astryd you'll be the death of me the man said.Phileas thought the same thing.
